Another month goes by...We are all in awe how much Logan grows each and every day. He is talking so much more than we ever thought would happen this quickly. The things he comprehends is amazing. It is nice that he can understand so much now and can carry out tasks and clean up after himself when instructed to - it is so neat!
He is so happy and we all enjoy him so much.
Right now we are working on sharing. I am thinking this might take a little while. Just this morning he had a bag of Little People animals that he wanted to play with. There was one representing every letter so 26 of them. He had a fit because I let Hampton play with the zebra and he walked around and kept saying, "Ogi have that now." I just kept repeating that he had to share.
Last week we had playgroup at our house and he went and hid all his tools so he wouldn't have to share them with his friends. When the left he said, "Ogi pay tools now." Pretty funny, but we are trying to work on that!
Still having eating issues...
We are still working on getting him to eat what we have for dinner. He doesn't get anything other than what we have (except he may get a fruit and we don't). Usually, we can get him to eat a few bites, but that is it. Sometimes he doesn't even try it which is extremely frustrating. He doesn't even like for me to eat things he doesn't like. He starts getting upset and saying, "Mommy not ike it." I just calmly tell him that it is yummy that Mommy does like it. What do ya do???

Blake was here last week before Easter and Logan was so very happy! Blake was so helpful which was nice considering Patrick was out of town for the week. It was really sad for Logan because every time someone would come to the house, he would say, "Daddy here." Or if he would get upset, he would say, "Daddy hold Ogi." It was so sad. He was certainly happy when daddy got home. He just didn't understand.
Patrick loves to dress Logan in Carhardt's - which I certainly don't love!
But Logan does love to play outside in the dirt and with his "tools."
He will get his little gardening tools and his little trucks and play for hours. It is very difficult to get him inside. We had a couple of rainy days, so it was not easy for us to get him outside. In these pictures, it was drizzling and he didn't care. He was going outside no matter what that day. I was ready for him to go outside. Too many days of rain does all of us in!
Logan is still obsessed with Big Trucks and Tractors. He is right beside me right now playing with one. His daddy is out back cleaning up the yard and using his forklift and Logan is dying to get out there. He keeps saying, "Ogi go outside now...Get Ogi's shoes on." It's so sad but they are actually working and Patrick can't keep an eye on him right now.
My favorite thing Logan does is say his prayers and meal time and before bed. He is so cute especially at night. After we brush his teeth, he gets in his crib and I kneel down beside him and we close our eyes. He says, "Kank you Jesus for dis day. Kank you for Mommy, Daddy, Mimi, G-daddy, Aunt Bapple (sometimes its Uncle Bapple), Uncle Barney (Marty), Sara Gace, Sara, Kat Kat, Bake, Doo-Doo, Ha-ton, Uncle Tom, Uncle Tommy" (Uncle Tom and Tommy are the same person), and then we do a few people over and over. It is so precious - especially when he squeezes his little eyes together. He stands there and sways trying to think of everyone. Then he starts jumping.
Luckily, Logan hasn't tried to climb out of the crib yet. We are holding off on the big boy bed as long as possible. I am aiming for 3 years, but I am sure it will be before then.
