20 weeks - Halfway there!

Today Patrick and I went to my 20 week ultrasound and got to see lots of little Hampton. He was so so cute and we got several 4-D pictures that were pretty cool. Everything looked wonderful on him and he had no cysts and everything looked to be developing normally. We are still praying that he grows strong and healthy and the doctors and stenographer seem to think we have no need to worry. She looked at his heart and said it looked really good so there is no need to send me to a specialist to do further testing (Remember - Logan has the aortic stenosis and it tends to be familial). So we are really thankful for that. Patrick and I both thought that the baby looked a lot like Logan. Of course, you know we think we are proficient in reading ultrasounds at this point :)
Since I still don't have a scanner, I took a picture of my favorite pic and posted it. It is so sweet. Here is his little foot. Several people have asked me where the pictures of my development are and I finally got Patrick to take a couple. I am not sure if the pants I was wearing fit me weird, but to me my stomach looks a little deformed. It's flat in the front or something - I don't know. Maybe it is because there is so much extra skin and filling there right now it can't shape into a ball! Who knows. But there it is - the baby bump!

I talked with the doctor today about all my worries and she helped me understand how their practice handles everything and what to expect during delivery. My main concern is the epidural and I am so glad to know that they will not let me be in pain. They will make sure I am taken care of and boy is that reassuring!
I am measuring perfectly and have gained 12 pounds. Time for that to slow down! I guess I better lay off the powdered donuts???
Now, I have got to get busy on Hampton's room and preparing for him. I only have 20 weeks left - If that!

You look great. I don't think the pants make your stomach look weird. Hard to believe that you don't have that much farther to go.
