15 months old!

It is so unreal how much Logan has grown up. He changes more and more every day. Each phase of his little life is more fun than the last - for the most part. He is so sweet and inquisitive. He also likes to play with all the things he isn't supposed to!
Some of his favorite things to get ahold of are: the remote, our cell phones, the wipes, the keyboard to the computer, and any thing else he can find with fun buttons to push. His favorite foods are grapes, blueberries, strawberries and bananas. He is still a very picky eater and he may eat something one day and then next will not have a thing to do with it. He has to be in the right mood for a lot of things - which makes feeding times very difficult and especially difficult when he is being kept by someone else.
Usually what we end up doing is letting him play with one of our cell phones to distract him so we can get some of the foods in. Sad, but whatever works!
Logan is still so happy. He loves to give hugs and kisses now and he definitely loves his big brothers. We go pick Dylan up from school and Logan gets so excited when he finally spots Dylan come out. He doesn't get to see Blake very often, but he talks to him a lot on the phone. Blake can always get him laughing by saying, "Que pasa?"

We still like to look out at the dogs. Logan doesn't care that there are blinds on the windows. He has managed to rip them all out of their slots so that he can look outside at the dogs. And, here lately there have been workers in the back yard working on Patrick's shop, so that is even more incentive to jerk the blinds out of the way!
We still read several books a day. I have gotten him some new ones so that we can learn and read something new. I got tired of the same ol' books over and over. We just got a new one that has all kinds of animals in it and he absolutely loves it. His favorite picture is the Lion and he points at it and goes, "Da, da!" He gets so excited.
Wednesday Logan had his 15 month check up and he did not appreciate the shots. I know this is a pitiful picture, but I was trying to get some of him on the day he turned 15 months. He was not in the mood for pictures.
He weighed 25 lbs. 10 oz. - 75th percentile
Height was 33.5 inches - 90th percentile
I don't know what his head measurement was, but it was the 75th percentile.
Dr. Whitaker said everything looks good. We just need to get Logan off that morning bottle. That will take us some time. The sad part is that I am the one who really isn't ready for him to get off of it. It is the only time Logan will lay back and let me hold and rock him. I kind of cherish that moment every day and am going to be so sad to give it up. He does let me hold him to read him books, but it's not the same. I love when he is having his bottle that he will just lay there and look up at me so still. It is the sweetest thing!

Logan is definitely becoming daddy's little boy. He loves it when his daddy comes home from work. I love it too!!! They really are so sweet together and Logan has the best daddy in the world!
We took Logan out to look at the lake the other day and he loved looking at the water. He got so excited (and tried to get real close). We are going to take him to the lake on Memorial weekend at some point, so that ought to be fun. Hopefully, the water will warm up a LOT before then.
Logan had his 1st popcicle on his 15 month birthday. He loved it! Daddy caught this cute picture of him sharing one with me. It was a very warm day, so after the popcicle he played in the water hose while his daddy cleaned off the driveway.
Logan loves to be outside. I enjoy taking him out right now, but it is going to be very difficult the warmer it gets. I think in August it is going to be a 6-7 am thing. There is no way I can get out there and chase him around after that in the heat - especially as big as I am going to be!
Bring on the water hose....

I thought all these pictures were so cute and showed all the fun that Logan had playing in the water. His facial expressions were priceless and he was squealing the entire time.
Patrick and I feel so blessed to have Logan. He is such a special and wonderful boy and we now look at our lives and wonder what we did without him. He does the funniest things and we both have a hard time keeping our composure!
He also has developed quite an attitude that I should mention. If he has something that he wants and shouldn't have, good luck trying to get it. He runs from you and hides and puts a death grip on it until you pry it away from him. It's funny to talk about, but not too funny to deal with.
He has also started hitting and kicking me. He only does it to me and is not doing it to be hateful, but rather just to see what I am going to do and how I will react. I'll just go ahead and put it out there - I am a believer in spankings and Logan has had a few, but for the most part he is such a good boy and as long as you keep him focused and busy, he will stay out of things. It's when you try to do your own thing that gives you a problem. That is when he will try to climb the stairs or play in the office on the keyboard!
We love you little Logan~!
Happy 15 months.
