A visit with Sara Grace and Aunt Chappell

Friday Chappell and I went shopping at Babies R Us and Doodlebugs with Sara Grace (Logan was at home napping with Daddy). We had a lot of fun and spent way too much money at both places. Logan and Sara Grace now have a couple of matching outfits and we can hardly wait to get their pictures made in them. They also have matching swim suits that are sooo cute!
After our shopping spree, we came back to our house for lunch. I got some really cute pictures of Sara Grace hanging out with us. Logan was so excited to see his cousin when he got up from his nap. He went right to talking about it with us. Here is the little princess in one of my favorite outfits she has.
It has smocked little sail boats on it.
Logan loves to kiss his cousin. He did this over and over until we had to get him to stop so she could breathe. He doesn't really know what else to do with her.
Aunt Chappell read a book with Logan to distract him. Logan loves all his books and still likes to read the same ones over and over - despite my efforts in buying him new ones!
She was kind of smiling at me in this picture. Sara Grace will coo at you when you talk to her now. It is one of the sweetest phases a baby goes through in my opinion.
Aunt Traci loving on her neice!
I have to say that I have always thought SG looked like Marty, but these are definitely her momma's eyes. She is a great combination of both her parents.! Just perfect!
Getting some lovin's from my neice!
This is the 2nd time Logan had decided he doesn't want SG wearing any socks. The first time we were shopping at a fabric store for Hampton and Logan just reached into the stroller and pulled her socks off. We caught pictures this time because it was so funny.
Look how high he is pulling her foot and she doesn't even care! After he gets the socks, he just carries them around with him all over the place. Does he have a sock fettish?
Then we played with her sweet toes!

All of this was right before Patrick and I left for Myrtle Beach for the weekend. Aunt Sara and Aunt Kat came over and spent the weekend with Dylan and Logan. Aunt Chappell even came over on Saturday to take Dylan to the Marionette Theater. We can't thank them enough for helping us get some alone time!!!
Patrick and I had a wonderful time just relaxing poolside, shopping, and going out to eat. That is definitely the life.
Thanks to the Aunts for their help with the boys!!!

Dylan Tests for Brown Belt

Dylan tested for his Brown Belt Saturday. He did such a great job! He was awarded the belt Tuesday night (I forgot the camera that night). He now only has high brown, low and high red, and then he will test for Black. He loves Tae Kwon Do and we are so proud of how well he has done and continues to do. He is absolutely amazing at it and I got some video of it, but I can't figure out how to get it uploaded to the blog. As soon as I do, I will do that. Waititng for his turn. He just loves when I take his picture!
On one of the board that he breaks, he has to write down a bad habit that he is going to break. This time it was cleaning his room - we'll see how that goes! Last time it was forgetting to feed the dogs and that worked out well, so maybe this one will too. I certainly would love that!
Dylan during his forms.
Congratulations on your accomplishments, Dylan. We love you and are so proud of you!!!
Love,
Mom, Patrick, and Logi

A day at Church

We had not been to church in a couple of weeks and finally got back yesterday. Two weeks ago, I had to take Blake back to Georgia and last week we were all deathly ill with our virus - so, it felt good to be back into the swing of things. Logan was so good both times we dropped him off yesterday (for big church and for small group at night). We ran a little late at small group and were late picking him up so by the time we got there, Logan was crying and did not stop until we were half way home. It was 45 minutes past his bedtime too, so that didn't help.
We got home and he had his milk and then he went right to sleep.
I thought he looked so cute at church yesterday, so I got the best pictures I could of him before we had to change him to go play outside!

Peek-a-Boo!

Logan loves to crawl under and through things. The other day he was playing under the dining room table and I caught some cute little pictures of him. Sometimes it can be hard to find him, though!

Names

I thought I would post this because a lot of people have asked me about Patrick's name because of Hampton having Patrick as his middle name. Patrick's full name is Patrick Logan Suber, so both boys are going to be named after him. I think it is pretty neat and in the past week several people I have spoken with had no idea that Patrick's middle name was Logan. Anyway, thought I would share!

My Gym

We are members at My Gym (which I have mentioned in some other posts) and Logan and I usually go twice a week. He loves it there and I finally remembered my camera to get some pictures. I know it doesn't look like it in all of the pictures, but he really does have a great time.Logan stood here and danced with this ring to the music so straight-faced. He is always so serious.

For the record - the shirt says, My Dad Rocks!"
Logan likes to put all the balls in his mouth which is a constant battle. I constantly tell him "no" and take them from him. He then will pick up another one very quickly and put it back to his mouth and look at me - just trying me. He gets three chances and then he has to get out of the balls.

Logan used to hate the balls because of the uneasiness of them, but now he actually enjoys them - especially when he has a friend with him. Notice the little boy buried to the left in the picture.
Logan thought Edward was so funny rolling around in the balls. This is actually the first time he has been able to stay in them for a long period of time since he usually gets in trouble for putting them in his mouth.
Logan's friend, Jackson, with him playing. Jackson goes to church with Logan.
Our favorite thing ever - the swing!
Jackson enjoying one of the activities of the day - the Rocket.

Logan trying the rocket - he liked it but wouldn't smile like Jack Jack.
More of the swings before they got put away.
The swing of the day - the see-saw. Logan kept wanting up there, but then would want right back down. I am not sure what that was about, but I managed to catch a not-so-happy picture of him with Jackson.
Another favorite of Logan's - separation time.
Here the parents sit out in the lobby so the kids can have some separation time. Logan loves the little turtle that he can climb in and all the balls that are in it. He always does very well during this time. I do too - in case you were wondering :)

Silly Boy!

Sunday and Monday were very lazy days for us since none of us were feeling well. Logan was in his pj's all day both days because there was no reason for him to get dressed - especially since I didn't really have the energy to even bother. So needless to say, Logan got a little bored. He loves to stand on his head, so I finally caught some funny pictures of him doing so.
Looks like he may actually be getting some hair on that head, huh?

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

Thursday we got out Logan's new bubble machine and he absolutely loved it. When the bubbles come out at My Gym, Logan gets so excited and laughs and screams.

Such a happy baby!

Right after all this fun, Logan got terribly sick. He got the stomach bug that has been going around and it started on the driveway. We initially thought he was just coughing and had gagged himself, but after the 3rd time of his getting sick, we realized that it was more than that. It was a VERY long night. The rest of us eventually got it as well. Dylan and I got it Saturday night and Patrick had it Monday night. We are all feeling better now and hopefully, that is the end of it!
This is why there haven't been any recent posts!

Breakfast at IHOP

Yesterday Logan and I met some of our friends at IHOP for breakfast. Logan had a rough morning but he did much better once we got to the restaurant. We ordered him a Happy Face pancake that came with strawberries as the eyes and bananas as the mouth. Then you got a tube of yogurt to design the hair - which we did not do. Logan loved the yogurt (probably because it was the kind with lots of sugar) and at a good amount of the rest of his breakfast. The problem was with the strawberries. They weren't really fresh - they were the ones that had some syrup on it and that was a mess! I had strawberry syrup all over me and Logan had it all over him by the time we left. But we had a great time with all our friends, and that is all that matters!Tricia and Caleb
Jennifer and Cooper
Logi and me
Jennifer and Landree
I am sure the restaurant was so ready for us to leave - especially Logan and me! We had a pile of napkins and an absolute mess going on. It was kind of crazy!

Logan's New Fire Truck

Here is Logan with his new "car" as he likes to call it. He loves, loves, loves to be outside and he will sit in his new fire truck car and turn the wheel, beep the horn, and press the walkie talkie button over and over. Luckily, it has been so nice out this week that we have been able to play outside. Today we are going to My Gym and then going to come home for lunch and get outside as soon as we can. It is supposed to be 80 today - woo hoo!
This picture says it all! He also loves to open and close the door on the car. It is really grown up looking.
The car is even better when Dylan comes out and pushes Logan around. The problem is that Logan doesn't like for you to stop!

Baby #4's Name

We finally pinned down a name for the baby boy we are due to have in September.
His name will be...
Hampton Patrick
and I just love it!
I am really excited to have found a name that we agreed on and that I love so much. All the other names that we discussed I just felt like they were "ok" and I was settling, but now I am really happy with what we have come up with!

Logan is 14 months old!

It is so hard to believe how fast time is flying. Logan is already 14 months old! He is now so mobile and is into EVERYTHING! It is a lot of fun and very exhausting. We are having so much fun with him and just love watching all the new things he learns on a daily basis. Logan's favorite thing to do is be outside. If you ask him if he wants to go "bye-bye" he doesn't care, but if you ask him if he wants to go outside, he gets all excited and starts heading towards the door. He is very inquisitive while he is outside and loves to pick up sticks and rocks. That has been very hard to keep him from doing, so we have gotten him some new toys to play with outside to keep him occupied.
Logan likes to climb on things also and while Blake and Dylan were trying to play basketball on Friday, Logan kept climbing on the back of the goal so they couldn't shoot (you know if they were to hit him, someone might lose a head).
These blocks are on the base of the goal to keep it from blowing over and moving. Logan loved them!
Logan's two favorite people are Blake and Dylan. Those two can make him laugh harder than anyone else. They also have a great way of spoiling him! Blake was here for the week last week and it was so nice. He is so loving and kind to everyone and he is even moreso with Logan. He was great to help me out so I didn't have to carry Logan a lot and Logan just loved it. The only time Logan will prefer me over the boys is 1st thing in the morning when he has his one and only bottle of the day. He gets so excited to have that milk!
Logan loves to play with balls. We went to Toys R Us on Sunday and we ended up with 6 balls in our cart before we left. We only bought 2 cheap ones for him to play with outside though. The older boys were really sweet to share their basketball with Logan the other day.
As the picture shows, Logan is looking and acting more and more like his daddy. He likes to dress like him too :). Before we went outside the other day, he had to put the glasses on and yesterday we went to McAlister's for lunch with Aunt Sara and he wore them there also. It is so funny!
Logan's words for the month are "eyes," "da-ddy," "momma," "car," "sock," "uh-oh," "duck" and I am sure he is trying to say more but it just comes out as a scream.
We are reading a lot these days also. Logan's favorite thing in the world is a book. He will bring me all his books and we will just sit and read. It is lots of fun. He still loves the Quiet/Loud book and we probably read that about 5 times a day. He just smiles when we do the loud parts. He also loves all the flap books where he gets to help open the flaps. That is lots of fun, but I am sure by now he has memorized what is going to be underneath each flap.
Logan laughs all the time. He loves to laugh at his brothers and at himself. Tonight for dinner he was chewing up his dinner and spitting it everywhere and laughing as hard as he could. It was so gross, but the laugh he had was so cute and hysterical that you had to turn your head to keep him from seeing you smile. Dylan taught Logan to spit, so I have him to blame :)!

Sunday Patrick, Logan and I went shopping for some patio furniture and for some fun outdoor toys for Logan. Daddy has gotten the basketball goal and the car put together now and Logan is not that crazy about the basketball goal - he just wants the ball. Daddy and Dylan try to get Logi interested, but he would rather throw the ball and chase it. Maybe he is too young?
Daddy making a shot for Logan. He was really just trying to eat the rim!
After a little basketball, Logan found a board and was much more interested in that than anything we had to offer. Really - why do people ever buy toys??? It is the most random thing that a child is going to want to play with instead.
Notice that Logan is wearing his new pair of shoes that he absolutely loves. They are crocs and they are bright red "Cars" ones. We got them Sunday and on Monday morning he saw them and brought them to me to put on him. He wore them with his pj's all morning and I finally got them off of him when he went down for his morning nap!
Logan is so precious to us. We feel so blessed that God has given us this special little boy! Every day he does something new and it is just amazing how smart and wonderful he is. Logan really helps us to stop and take time out of anything else we have going on in our lives and just smile and laugh. Children truly are the most precious things ever!!!
I am so glad that I have SO many of them and love them all so much.
How amazing is it that just a year ago he could barely hold his little head up and now he is this amazing little boy who walks, talks, and surprises us each and every day???
Logan,
We love you and love all the smiles and laughter you bring to us.
Lots and lots of love,
Momma, Daddy, Blake, and Dylan
