The day Logan was born we were blessed with a wonderful addition to our family. Little did we know how much Logan would teach us, amaze us, and truly bless our lives. He is such a great baby and words could never describe how much love he has brought into all of our lives. Here he is the right after he was born - all 9 lbs 10 oz of him.
Logan has always had such a serious expression. Still to this day, that expression comes out in him and he has an intense way of studying things and viewing them.
At one month, he developed a horrible case of baby acne that finally went away. It was so sad and the worst part was not being about to do anything about it!
Here is Logan at 2 months and again he is very serious.
At 3 months Logan was more interactive and was much more fun to play with. He has always had a smile that would just light up the room and no matter what kind of day you have had, if Logan smiles, it will make you smile!
4 months old and strong as can be. I could hold his hands and walk with him at just 4 months - of course, he still isn't walking on his own yet! This was a great time of year because the summer was near and we could really start to enjoy the outdoors.
Logan was so happy playing on his tummy once he could really hold his head up. His favorite thing to look at is his big brothers. To this day, either of them can walk into the room and Logan's little face will just light up. It is so fun each day when Dylan gets home to watch Logan play with his big brother.
By 6 months, Logan could sit up on his own and was even more fun to interact with!
Around 7 months, Logan finally started crawling and once he did, there was no stopping him. He is still into everything. The one good thing was that when he wanted something, he was able to get to it on his own. What fun!

When Logan was 8 months old, we went to Orlando and took him to Sea World and Islands of Adventure. He was really good and we had a great time. We went with Aunt Chappell and Uncle Marty, Aunt Sara, Aunt Kat and Blake. Logan ate french fries for the first time while we were there and that was the first time he actually sat there and ate food so that I could eat a meal without being interrupted - I don't think I will ever forget that day!
I will never understand why all babies like to put everything they see into their mouths. It is so gross, but every baby does it. Logan will find the tiniest thing on the floor and into the mouth it goes. I think that is one reason why it will be nice when he starts walking - then he won't be as close to floor to see everything that is there.
Logan at Christmas time and boy was he tempted by our tree. I lost two ornaments this past year and one of them I never found and the other got broken. Logan made our Christmas even more special and was such a joy. He did really well with his toys and his favorite by far is the little house that Santa brought to him. He has played and played in that thing and loves everything about it.
By 11 months Logan had been walking behind things for a while and that gave him even more access to things in the house! He loves to push things across the floor whether walking or crawling. Either way works for him. He really loves his firetruck that he got for Christmas and he has just figured out how to climb on it, but still hasn't figured out how to push himself around while he is on it.
Happy Birthday, my precious little boy!

Logan is now 1 and although it is such a fun milestone, I am a little sad that he is outgrowing the "baby" stage and will soon be entering the toddler stage. As we have already experienced with him, I am sure that every day will bring even more fun and adventure for both us and him.
Logan, we have truly enjoyed the past year with you and look forward to all the fun that you will continually bring to our family. We all love you more than you can possibly know and pray for all the best for you always.
Love,
Momma, Daddy, Blake, and Dylan
