Nice weather = Outside!

For about a week it was pretty nice here, so we took advantage of it and played outside! This was the first of several nice days we had...Logan and his big trucks - he says "big truck" at least 20 times a day!
It was still a little cool, so Hamp wore his cute hat again.
Every time we go through the garage, Logan grabs the broom and runs out near the car and starts sweeping. All he needed for his birthday was a broom and he would have been good to go!
He actually does a pretty good job at it.
Yes, he has hit my car several times!
We got some balloons at Maddox's birthday party (that is my next post) and he played with them until he eventually popped them. Dylan even joined Logan on the fun.
Look, mommy - a tail! He actually barked like a puppy and said he was a puppy. I thought it was pretty clever.

Loving the Bumbo

I finally got the Bumbo out for Hampton and he seems to enjoy it. Logan always hated it (that may be because his legs were so chunky that he would get stuck). Hampton will sit in it for short periods of time while he plays with the activity mat. It gives him a different perspective of his toys!
He loves this little bee.

Bad Habit to get started!

Logan has never had issues with going to bed in his own bed...until now! It started out with him crying when he went down at night and Patrick would have to lie on the floor until Logan went to sleep. Then, he started it during the day too. Well, I can't always lie up there waiting on him to fall asleep with Hampton downstairs. I tried letting him cry it out, but after a complete hour of nonstop crying, I gave in to letting him come to my bed where he went right to sleep. We have gotten it back under control now, but for several weeks when it was time to put him down, Logan would say, "Ogi night night Mommy's bed." "Ogi" is what he calls himself.
Hopefully, this doesn't happen anymore, but it is a cute story and makes for cute pictures.

My favorite milestone ever!

My absolute favorite milestone my children have had is when they find their toes. Hampton found his and has not let go since. He loves to hang on to them with one hand and eat the other hand while rocking his foot around. It is the sweetest thing! Yes, that is a Christmas gown. It is so cute, I can't quit putting him in it and it still fits. I figure we can use it has a Valentine candy cane :)!
So sweet!

January 25th

We had some errands to run and Hampton wore his new hat that Grandee gave to him. It is so cute on him!!!
After errands, the boys sat in our bed and watched some tv together! I am sure this is the first of many pictures and times they will do this together.

A day with the Boys 1/23

Hampton loves to play in the around-we-go. He is pretty happy in it most of the time.
Logan loves to play with the laundry. He will take it in and out of the baskets, put it in the dryer and take it back out. I got some cute pictures of him "helping" me out.

Such a happy little boy!

Happy Baby

I love the way a child's face lights up a room when they smile - especially when it's one of my own. There is nothing better than a happy child!!!

I love my baby!

Fun pictures of the Boys

I am so far behind on my posts. I will update as quickly as possible. These were taken on the snow day... Hampton eating my string on my sweatshirt.
So excited and focused on his toy
Love that boy!!!
Logan loving on Charlie. The other night Logan had gone around the house asking everyone, "Watch, Go Diego Go?" After everyone told him no, he went to Charlie and said, "Watch, Go Diego Go, Charlie?" It was so funny. He even got down on the ground in his face to ask him. Sad he was so desperate!
He loves to get out his guitar and dance for us!
Sang too!

This is the funniest picture...I had Hamp on my legs bouncing him and thought his face was hilarious!
When it is time for Logan to go take a bath, he runs and hides from us so. He loves to hide behind the train table and say, "mommy, mommy."
There is honestly NEVER a dull moment at our house!

Logan's 1st Snow

January 20, 2009 - Inauguration Day! What a fun surprise to wake up and the weather man had gotten it right - It snowed!
Dylan making one of the only snowballs possible
Logan loved it!
But, it was so cold.
I love that face!
Not too much accumulation - so, Dylan got most of the snow from the deck.

Dylan Wrestling in Lugoff 1/17

Dylan had a qualifier in Lugoff-Elgin on the 17th. He was trying to qualify for state, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. Here he is with one of his teammates (on the left). He did very well and definitely improved throughout the year. We are very proud of how well he has done!
Walking over to his match.
Getting ready to start. The guy that he competed against was from Indiana. He is a national competitor and Dylan did well and held his own. Papa (the coach) stopped me and told me how proud he was of Dylan and how Dylan has never backed down from a fight and always does very well. He said that Dylan did very well against this guy and that I should be very proud of him.
Papa always gives the boys hugs after their matches and talks to them. He had Dylan for a while telling him what he had told me later. Dylan looks like he is sulking in this picture, but he wasn't. He was proud of himself.
Papa again telling him how well he did.
The wrestling year is now over. Dylan did a great job and we had fun going to watch all his matches. The only thing we have left is the banquet this Sunday.
Congratulations on a great First year, Dylan. We are very proud of you!
